SHANGHAI EQUINE ART AUCTION

So, here we are again in the run up to the Olympics, already.  How time flies!

I was delighted to be approached by Alex Hua Tian, who has successfully qualified for the 2016 Olympics for Team China, to photograph his three potential Olympic horses.  Alex is based in the UK and has been working hard to qualify for the Rio Olympics.  He first competed at Olympic level for Team China in 2008.

Alex is a patron of World Horse Welfare, an international horse charity that improves the lives of horses in the UK and around the world through education, campaigning and hands-on-care. World Horse Welfare is a charity very close to my heart and I have been helping to raise awareness and funds for several years now.

As part of his Road to Rio campaign, a special event was hosted by The Hurun Report in honour of Alex at The Roosevelt Club in Shanghai on 12th March. Alex was keen to raise awareness of World Horse Welfare at the event and so I agreed to donate a framed fine art photograph of each of his three Olympic horses for a charity auction at the event.

It was great to hear that the event was a success and delighted to raise funds for World Horse Welfare.

Wishing Alex every success for Rio!
